Went out to feed and the cows tried to knock me over as I dragged the grain to the trough. Then I had to help break ice. Then carry buckets of water to the cows since the hoses are frozen. Gave new bedding to the piggies. Then it's freaking cold! Have enough clothes on for 8 people :) Oh joy. Interesting living up on the hill. Doggies always wear their coats when they go out for a potty. I think Zip and Ness like being farm dogs. Had quite a few people coming for Christmas trees. I'm looking forward to Maddy's first Christmas :)

Had a wonderful Thanksgiving with mom and Zach. Nice and relaxing. Crazy to think it's December already!

Maddy is becoming a big girl! She goes to bed around 10:30 pm and wakes up at 6-6:30 am for a bottle and then up for the day at 8:30 am. So much nicer! She is a strong little girl. So much fun!





We've started selling Christmas trees, so that is keeping us busy! It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!

Happy Thanksgiving! We're stuffing ourselves at mom's house. Maddy is napping and we're watching Th Proposal which is hilarious! Couldn't ask for a better day!

So wish I could have gone this year, but I hope Zach has a BLAST! I think he'll have a ton of fun. Can't wait to hear how it goes! Plus Zach is getting a super cool leash from the leash people. It's flames with orange, black and red. Should look awesome on Nub!

So we found a part of a Frankenstein costume, so of course all the dogs had to wear it for pictures!

Raleigh was the one that the costume belonged to.

Tyler, Maddy, the dogs and I headed to mom and Zach's for Halloween. We had a blast! Maddy was Maddy the moo cow for Halloween. It was super cute! We stayed up late and watched Harry Potter, The Attic and some episodes of Two and A Half Men. Zach's girlfriend Haley also joined us. There were actually some trick or treaters this year!

Things have been going pretty good. Maddy is getting big, the dogs are having fun, the fall is beautiful. I did go back to work finally and my dad and my grandma watch her for me. My grandma is having a blast! Maddy had 2 different sets of visitors this past week :)

Maddy now smiles and coos all the time and has started to giggle :)She also now does little screams and likes to stick her tongue out. She is ticklish too. She's so much fun now and I'm really enjoying this stage. She does not enjoy being held like a real baby :) She loves to either be sitting up or standing. She's very strong and really would like to be moving. She has started to try and scoot. Amazing how fast the time goes by!

She has kept most of her hair! I was able to put a hair pretty in it today :)

Maddy had to get 5 shots today! Poor little thing. It was so awful. She cried and cried and so then I cried. I'm a sympathy crier. I told Ty he has to come next time to help settle her down.

Maddy now weighs 13 lbs 12 oz and is 23.5 inches tall. Her doc says she's a little on the chunky side :) But she should grow out of it. She is one well fed baby.

Zach and Ty go off hunting next week and mom and I are off to the CAT USDAA trial. Should be fun and Zip debuts in Advanced already! Seems crazy he's already moved up, but Zach helped a lot with that :) So hopefully we can get it together enough to make it through some courses. Hopefully I can go out and practice sometime this week.

Zach picked up his next agility dog on Friday! She's from Canadian Border Collie rescue eh! She is so cute! We still can't convince him to totally go for a Border Collie, so he got a Border Jack! As far as I know, he hasn't quite picked a name yet. I can't wait to meet her tonight. She sounds like an evil little thing :)

Maddy is now 9 1/2 weeks old. She is getting so big! She's a little chunky monkey :) She now likes to smile at us and enjoys chewing on her fingers. She also blows some good spit bubbles! Tyler brought home a cold and we all got it :( We're all feeling better now though.

It's nice having all the dogs with us now. They like to be right under my feet though. They're all doing well as farm dogs :) Zipper is scared of the kitties and likes to alarm bark at them. Poor little Zip. Nessa would like to kiss the chicken women with her teeth, so she doesn't get to be near them.

I've been running only Zipper at class and boy that makes things interesting! I've come to the conclusion that Nessa is my crutch :) We just gel and things just come easy and natural with her. Zipper on the other hand feels like I'm running on the brink of destruction all the time. He runs very differently than Nessa. The boy is growing up though and has really picked up on the speed! We just need more time running together as a team. I have to remember that he just turned 2 and is still a baby.

Also went to a wedding today. It was really fun. Total redneck wedding. Their colors were brown, orange and camo. It was outdoors with hay bales to sit on and deer antlers on the arch they got married under. I'm glad we went and Maddy had fun with grandma and uncle Zach.
